High Ropes - Groundworks Complete

New Website

Welcome to our new website. It has been re-designed and expanded to better reflect what goes on at Marrick Priory.

We have added many new pages that we hope you will find useful when planning a visit to the Priory.

Our intention is to regularly update this page to keep you informed of our latest news.

August 2010

The groundworks for the High Ropes Course is now complete. Work on the course structure itself is due to start later this month and should be finished sometime in October.

September 2010

High Ropes Course

We now not only have planning permission but have also successfully raised £46,000 worth of funding for the new high ropes course. Groundwork has already begun on the old archery site. This exciting project is due for completion sometime in autumn 2010.

The completed structure will include a climbing wall, gorge crossing, vertical playground, jacobs ladder, leap of faith, crate tower and a zipwire across the river swale.
