The staff at Marrick Priory are always on hand to help you make the most of your stay. We work with a well balanced blend of professionalism and friendliness that creates a safe and relaxed atmosphere. We really make an effort to build a rapport with our guests that goes beyond the time spent doing activities.
Instructional Staff
We have a team of 5 full-time instructors that works alongside the Head of Centre and Deputy Head of Centre who also take a very active role as part of the instructional team. All instructors have previous experience working at other outdoor centres around the country. They also hold current first aid certificates and a D1 entitlement to drive a minibus.
Our instructors recognise that many people - especially younger people - can feel outside their comfort zone whilst spending a week away from home doing adventurous activities. We have the enthusiasm, patience, skills and understanding to put you at ease during your stay and help you achieve things you never thought you could.
Domestic Staff
Our housekeeper leads a dedicated team of domestic staff that keeps the centre ship-shape and provides a fantastic range of homemade meals. We are more than happy to cater for any special dietry requirements. If you have a birthday during your stay then let us know and we might even bake you a cake!
